Berg's carries skiing and snowboarding equipment, apparel, and all related accessories exclusively. Berg's Nordic Ski Shop opened its doors in January 1955, selling downhill and cross-country ski equipment. The ski shop was run largely by Dale, Paul, and Emma, while Al continued to work at a gas station behind the scenes. Paul and Dale worked at the shop after school every day until closing and on weekends. Skis, boots, poles, and so forth - were sold by them, and Emma stocked customers from head to toe with the newest ski apparel.
